By, 2018-10-02

There are a lot of people who like to decorate their cars with stickers, that sounds great, doesn’t it? No matter how enjoyable it is, the thought of removing these stickers is somehow confusing.  Removing Stickers incorrectly may  damage the glass, especially if sharp tools are used to remove the stickers.

So, here are the top 5 ways to remove old stickers from your car glass

1- Use hair dryer

It is recommended to use hair dryer to remove the old stickers from the glass easily by directing the hot hair coming out from the dryer on the stickers you want to remove. The hot airstream dissolves the adhesive, making it easier to be removed without damaging the car glass.

2 - Use any type of oil

When you remove the label from the glass of the car you will notice that there is some adhesive remaining on the glass. It is difficult to remove the glue than removing the label itself. So you should use oil to get rid of those annoying things on the car glass without using sharp tools.

3. Use hot water and soap

Place enough soap and water on the label you want to remove from the car and leave it for 10-30 minutes. The soap and water help soften the label and the glue on the glass so it will be easy to remove the sticker with your finger.

4. Use bicarbonate soda

Mix an appropriate amount of oil and bicarbonate to make a paste-like substance. Place the mixture on the stickers you want to remove. Bicarbonate removes adhesive from the stickers and easily removes it from the glass surface. If there are some stickers with permanent adhesive, leave the mix all night and remove them easily with a soft cloth.

5. Use washing soda

Use hot water and washing soda to remove the stickers and adhesive material. All you have to do is to wait for 30 minutes and then remove the stickers with a clean cloth. Watch out! You should wear gloves when using washing soda where they can cause allergies if it touches the skin.

Use one of these easy and simple methods and get rid of old car glass stickers without having to go to a specialist or damage the car glass.
